What a summer! At Room2Room Movers, 2025 has been our biggest year yet, and we’re so excited to share the numbers that tell the story of our growth. From expanding into new campuses to helping more students and families than ever before, this has been a year full of milestones.
Expanding From One College to Two
When we first launched in Auburn, we had one goal: make moving easier for college students. This year, we were also able to expand into Oxford to serve students at the University of Mississippi! The response has been incredible, and we’re proud to now call both Auburn and Ole Miss home.
Moving More Students Than Ever Before
This summer alone, we completed 1,102 moves , compared to 813 the year before. Our trucks traveled more than 52,000 miles and our movers put in 29,056 hours of hard work. From dorms to apartments to houses, we were there every step of the way.

- 330 apartments moved
- 274 houses moved
- 84 dorms moved
- 39 apartment community partnerships
- 23 sorority chapter rooms served
Growing Our Team and Giving Back
Behind the numbers is our team. This year, we employed 86 movers, nearly 50% more than the year before. Every one of them played a role in making moves smooth, safe, and stress-free for our clients.
We also found ways to give back. We donated 8,200 moving boxes, more than double the year prior! Helping our communities is a core part of who we are, and we’re thrilled to see that impact grow alongside our business.
Storage, Ship & Store, and Beyond
Our storage services also grew, with 307 clients using our storage solutions 73 ship-and-store clients. On top of that, our team traveled to 17 different states, proving that our reach goes far beyond campus.
Looking Ahead
From our humble beginnings during the pandemic to where we are today, Room2Room Movers has come a long way. This year’s stats represent more than numbers — they represent trust, community, and the belief that moving can be easier.
We’re proud of what we’ve accomplished, but we’re even more excited about what’s next. As we look toward another year of growth, we’ll continue to expand, innovate, and serve students, families, and businesses with the same energy and care that got us here.
